I've read this before, but I can hardly remember what it was about, so I've re-hired it from my local Library, along with it's sequal Zenith. This is the blub on the back of the book, but it's more of an extract: Up to her waist in water, Mara reaches an arm through a window that's long emptied of glass and dials 999, the old emergency number on the dial. Why, she doesn't know. Who on earth does she think might answer? This can't happen, Mara sobs down the phone line that's been dead for decade.
No-one answers They're all long gone.I'll let you know if it's a good read.

LOL! It's set in the future, but it's really good! I'm already half way through (or there abouts)

I finished it! Woot! I was reading it all yesterday, and I finally finished around 11pm last night It's a really good book...I think slightly confusing in places, because as I said before, it's set in the future and the earth is flooded because the polar ice caps have melted. I'll probably start reading the sequal Zenith later on today
